VAC Vintage 100 vacuum tube power amp REDUCED PRICE

These VAC Vintage 100 Monobloc Power Amplifiers are rare stereo
components. They were designed and produced by the Valve Amplification
Company (VAC) of Sarasota, Florida. The VAC website home page greets you
with: "Welcome to the official website of Valve Amplification Company,
Inc., designers and manufacturers of the world's finest audio
instruments since 1990" (http://www.vac-amps.com/homepage.htm).

A little known fact is that this is the company chosen by Marantz to
build the reissued Marantz Model 7 and 9 components for them. By then
the VAC was one of the very few companies who could meet their quality
requirements for manufacturing these legendary tube products.

The "VAC Vintage High Power Mk II Monophonic Power Amplifier" known as
the "Vintage" or just "V100" is described as a wideband low-feedback
monoblock power amplifier producing approximately 100 watts per chassis of tube power!

The design is largely based on the legendary Williamson circuit, which
was first published in England in 1947, and was the mainstay of the
original high fidelity movement. Significantly refined in the V100, this
circuit delivers true state-of-the-art performance, not sonically
bettered by the more complex designs of late.

The output stage features independent cathode bias for each tube, which
results in excellent sound and the most stable and maintenance free
operation available anywhere.

Premium parts are employed throughout, including 14 pound 22 section
bifilar-wound ultra-wideband output transformers, polypropylene and
polystyrene signal capacitors, high current rectifiers, low ESR power
supply, and proprietary wiring.
The quality of parts and careful layout allows the use of very little
feedback for high sonic purity and low distortion.

Physical Condition: Please see the attached images. There are a few discoloration marks on the front panel brass plate.

All tubes- Sovtek KT88s and ElectroHarmonix are new with less than 100
hours of use.The music reproduced by these V100's is flawless!

The amps were thoroughly cleaned. The new tubes were carefully and
perfectly biased immediately after the new tubes were installed and one
month thereafter.
