Rotel RB-1582 mkii

With a heavy heart I’m selling my Rotel RB-1582mkii. I originally had the RB-1552mkii and it just wasn’t cutting it with the speakers I had at the time. This one not only got the job done, but impressed me beyond what I was expecting. I have used Sonus Faber Venere 2.5’s and B&W CM6 s2’s and this amp has done great with both. In one case it was under powering the 2.5’s by 50 watts and the other were overpowered by 80 watts (just going off of specs). This amp is well build with the full aluminum front and the classic 15 series slotted vent front making it super attractive. Elegant yet imposing. It’s very simple and to the point. Switchable RCA and XLR inputs and there is no remote- it doesn’t come with one for those that don’t know.
I’m selling ONLY because I want to get a reference integrated for both space purposes and the fact that I really don’t need 200 wpc- the room isn’t that big and I’m sticking with stand mounters. It’s very likely that I’ll regret selling this but I’m trying to make a rational decision for what’s best and not go buy a bunch of preamps to see what sounds best (I’ve already been wondering what a tube pre would be like).
Purchased in September of last year and has never been pushed beyond its limits, and has sat in the same place the whole time- except for cleaning.  This item joins the ranks with two other products I have currently as being my favorite buys of all time. I have the original packing, including the plastic bag it comes wrapped in. The manual is here somewhere- if I can’t find it I’ll have Rotel send me another.
