I never thought I would sell these - they're the ultra-rare original "disappearing" speakers with a huge soundstage and warm natural tonality, pure midrange, highly efficient. Developed in the 80's somewhere in Denmark in a psychoacoustics lab, and then design stolen by a Freddy van Bersy, manufactured by a violin maker, and imported in the 80''s by Hart Hushens, who then owned Audio Advancements in NJ.   They were loved by Jules Coleman, who when asked if there were any classic items he wished he had not sold, these were "The One that Got Away #1".   I don't have the boxes any longer, so custom packing will need to be made.  There a few minor scratches and chips on the veneer, mainly on the bottoms.   The grilles are glued on with wooden dowels and do not come off, but a few years ago I carefully removed them and checked the soft rubber surrounds- they are perfect, as are the 4" twin audax drivers and dome Audax tweeter.   They prefer tube amplification and are a 4 ohm load, as I recall, about 94 db efficiency, bass is tight and tuneful but only down to about 50 Hz - i used them with a REL B2 sub.   They are intended to be placed directly on the floor, as far apart as possible but not near the sidewalls, and they will fill a large space (mine is 25x18ft) with sound effortlessly. They are 26.5" H and 9" deep. Footprint is 12 x 9", top is 8x9". Inputs: Banana jacks only.   If you are looking for a speaker that will reproduce the tonality of a violin or cello faithfully if fed the appropriate source and driven by an amp that can also render that, maybe this will be your holy grail.  Rated 8/10 due to age and a few imperceptible finish defects.   My asking price reflects their rarity and desirability.  Why am I selling them? - I have two pairs of them, and I'm keeping the other one.
