This listing is for a dynamic pairing made in heaven. I put this set together after having the rare chance to hear both products at an audio show and recognizing the synergy that they displayed together.
The Duevel Planets are an omni-directional stereo speaker pair utilizing a 5" woofer and a 1" horn loaded tweeter, simple and ingenious crossover technology, reflective spheres and a finely tuned bottom ported cabinet.
The EBTB (Everything But The Box) Subterranean is a brilliant subwoofer in a rigid spherical enclosure designed to eliminate standing waves and prevent the enclosure from influencing the sound. The SubTerranean utilizes a 12-inch driver in a spherical, cast-aluminum, ported enclosure nearly 20 inches in diameter, and it reaches all the way down to 18Hz. Two additional 180 Watt class-D amps are on board to power the Duevel satellite speakers in this 2.1 system.
Original cost was $1600 for the Duevel Speakers and $5249 for the EBTB Subwoofer
My preference is to sell this as a system due to the synergistic matching but I would consider offers to buy the units separately at $995 for the speakers and $2000 for the Sub.
I prefer local pickup but will ship if you pay for the boxing.
