I have a Yamaha Aventage RX-A3040 receiver up for sale that is functioning perfectly. I upgraded to separates for my home theater setup about 18 months ago, so this receiver has been powering my bedroom stereo setup. Since it is overkill to use a 9.2 channel receiver to power two small bookshelf speakers, I have decided to offload it and shop around for a stereo integrated amplifier to replace it.
I have everything that came with the receiver from the factory, including the original box and Styrofoam packaging. The only reason why I gave this receiver a 9/10 and not 10/10 is because it is a little over three years old as I bought it when it was Yamaha's flagship receiver back in early 2015. It does not have any visible signs of wear and was never worked very hard.
To the best of my knowledge, this was Yamaha's last flagship receiver to have the HD FM tuner built in. The firmware is also up to date (version 1.98).
I will offer local pickup, but the buyer can add shipping and handling costs to the purchase price if needed since I have all of the necessary packaging to ship the unit.
