Sonus Faber Guarnieri Homage

I originally purchased these speakers from an Audiogon member back in 2005 or so. I used them originally with an Audio Research tubed amplifier--and they just sang with beauty. They are true musical instruments. I changed my system to solid state, and have been reluctant to part with these, though they have been sitting unused in my home as you see pictured here. They are walnut and in excellent condition except for two chips in one of the bases, and a small nick in the finish of one of the speakers which can likely easily be buffed out. There is also an almost imperceptible discoloration streak in the same monitor that has the slight nick. Can't see it in the photo. I always thought these would look stunning with either soapstone or black marble bases instead...very inexpensive to procure, especially from scrap from a quarry. Original boxes, grills, covers. Functionally perfect.
