BIG PRICE DROP !!! Now $ 1500 This is really a steal. Great deal for pick up, and worth a drive to get it. I checked with UPS and they gave me a price on $550 or so ona pallet, perhaps $30 or so for insurance. The buyer though is paying for freight, if not a pick up, so you will need to arrange shipping as well as pay for it. I will of course help any way I can as far as talking to the transport company,etc. Burmester makes a beautiful rack, heirloom quality. The last rack you will probably ever need. My wife and I are very much downsizing and there will not be room for any real system - boo hoo ! The rack is 47 in wide, 17 in deep, 30in high, and the opening on the two top shelves are 73/4 in and 9in on the bottom shelf. It has been plenty big enough for me. I will not trying and do a sell job on Burmester quality, and they are one of the few high end companies to market their own rack and stand behind it. That meant a lot to me when I bought it. Less money than many of the “home built”racks you see advertised. I’m in the northern suburbs of Chicago, so picking up obviusly ideal. You will need to arrange and pay for shipping if that is needed. I have no idea how to estimate the weight, but its extremely overbuilt so heavy. Please no low balling but if you want to make a reasonable offer let’s talk. Please send me any questions. Thank you for looking.

Perhaps there is a freight service you can find where it would not be too expensive

It is built like a tank and if wrapped in big I e wrap, and insured, I think you would be good
I am quite confident you will not find a Burmester rack again for anywhere close to this price
