NOTE: Some of you have mentioned Goertz as a comparison to these foils, These foils are significantly different that Goertz, even down to the electrical characteristics I will point these out. .  1. Verastarr AudioFoils use higher purity Copper. Goertz uses 110/ 99.9% tough pitch copper. Verastarr uses 101/ 99.99% Oxygen Free High Conductivity Copper. 2. Verastarr AudioFoils are much much thinner than Goertz, less than half as thick. Therefore they are less capacitive and quicker. 3. Verastarr AudioFoils are not stacked together, they are run all separately. This also means nearly zero capacitance, for fast , dynamic transient response, and will not present a reactive load to your amp .  4. Verastarr AudioFoils are Heat annealed first, then deep cryogenic treated days later. Rolling or "cold working" foils makes many stress microfractures in the crystalline structure of the copper, if left this way the distortions from the foil are greater than standard Copper wire for instance. After nearly melting the copper the crystals elongate and flow together and after the cryo they shrink back up shortening the gaps between crystals, so in the end Verastarr AudioFoils correct for the manufacturing damage that is a result of cold working. 5. Verastarr AudioFoils use silver plated solid copper connectors, Goertz uses nickel or rhodium plated brass. Silver/Copper is more conductive and sounds better.
