Bricasti Design M1 SE with Network Card

Now a little about this amazing DAC. The Bricasti M1 SE is consistently a
Stereophile A+ component. Google around. Many consider this the best sigma
delta implementation on the planet. The dual mono design makes crosstalk
virtually non-existent, and the sound is highly resolute, precise, yet smooth

I am the first owner of this unit. This was purchased at Sound by Singer in
NYC. In the past month, I've sent it to Bricasti to not only add every upgrade
imaginable, but to ensure everything was working perfectly and is completely up
to spec. Ethernet and USB go to DSD 128 and (DXD) 384khz. SPDIF up to 192khz.
This is also one of the few players that can accept DSD 64 on SPDIF - so you
don't miss out on DSD if you want to use an AES connection. Firmware is the
latest and greatest at 1.49. Some 15 filters between PCM and DSD allow you to
dial this in exactly to your system.

Also - a little about the company. Bricasti is located in Massachusetts and run
by former Mark Levinson, Madrigal and Lexicon guys. I have never had an e-mail
unanswered within 24 hours - never forced me to go through a dealer. For
upgrades I've made - the longest it's taken me to get the device back is 1 week
- door to door. Bricasti also does things a little different than other
manufacturers when it comes to DACs. They continually upgrade hardware and
software so its always state of the art. While this unit has every upgrade
offered and is on the latest firmware, should new upgrades come available - for
a small fee you have a DAC that is as good or better than any other device on
the market.

I am so hesitant to get rid of this beautiful piece - but have just started a
small family and have to prioritize things other than my audio addiction. I'm
sure whomever gets it will enjoy it tremendously.
