Lyngdorf Audio SDA-2400 Class D Amplifier

Virtually new Class D Lyngdorf SDA-2400 digital amplifier. Bought in January 2018 new for a backup amplifier while main amplifier was out for repair. It has had a total of 3 weeks of use. I no longer have a need for it. The sound is very detailed with depth and great low frequency extension. It is a very powerful amp (don’t be fooled by its size). It was used to drive a pair of electrostatic speakers which are a very difficult load. The amp performed solidly under these conditions. It comes with a wealth of input choices.

SMART POWER
The SDA-2400 will automatically go into stand-by mode when not in use. When the amplifier detects a signal, it will turn on automatically.You can set it to always be on—and if your connected device has a 12V trigger output, this can control the power state of the SDA-2400, and even daisy-chain several SDA-2400 amplifiers.

DIGITAL AMPLIFICATION
Lyngdorf is the pioneer in digital amplifiers, and the SDA-2400 power amplifier is not your typical Class D digital power amplifier. It’s better. LOW HEAT GENERATION
Based on the latest technology of MOSFETs, the generation of heat inside the SDA-2400 is much less than comparable amplifiers—both in max load situations and, more importantly, in idle situations where an amplifier typically spends most of its lifetime.
