Focal Elex headphone, offered exclusively by Massdrop. (See their site for full product details.) This headphone has received rave reviews and as a former Elear, Clear, and Elex owner, I have to concur with them. The Elex offers great value, being (IMO) not inferior to Clear but simply different. Reviewers have described this difference as super HD650 (clear) vs HD600 (Elex) and I think there is some validity here; however, in my opinion, Clear is a bit bass heavy while Elex is more balanced while maintaining the same sparkly treble. It also looks great! The only problem with Elex is that you have to wait for Massdrop to offer it (they aren't currently) and then ship it (I had to wait months to get mine). So get it here now in mint condition with all original packaging, accessories, and free-and-fast shipping.
