Audio Research Reference 5SE Pre Amplifier

Originally purchased as a Ref. 5 and then upgraded to a Ref. 5SE in September of 2013 by Audio Research. ARC paperwork / documentation supporting this upgrade is / are photographed and will be included / enclosed with the shipment of the Pre Amp. This unit has been used in a tobacco free / pet free environment 100% of the time since new. Hours amount to 1246 as photographed. I do not feel the need to describe anything regarding it's operational quality as there have been many articles / reviews in the various Audiophile publications regarding the 5SE since it's inception. Functionally this unit is flawless; cosmetically near perfect with one very minor ding / scratch on the rear enclosure - not at all visible in the photos. The original outer box will be used for shipment with the brand new inner box with all ARC packaging material thus enabling safe secure transit to it's next destination. (As photographed). The tubes will be removed and enclosed in their foam containers and secured inside of the unit; same method / practice as ARC. The original power cord, screw driver and remote will be included. Please note that the inner counter weight within the remote has become loose and "rattles" a bit when using the remote. There is no negative operational effect or problem when using the remote. I have never considered opening the unit to re attach the counter weight for fear of damaging the casing. Shipping cost and insurance will be the responsibility of the buyer - shipment to the continental USA only. I feel that my asking price is quite fair as well as quite competitive however a reasonable offer is welcome for consideration.
