Thorens TD-124

Selling a very nice and late production Thorens TD-124 turntable with a Grado Laboratory tone arm and a reproduction all wood base. The turntable is in excellent condition and the original finish looks like new. The turntable was recently serviced, cleaned, and lubricated. The platter comes up to speed quickly and holds regulation. To the best of my knowledge the turntable and arm were together since new and the turntable is original. The spirit level is in good condition. The aluminum platter spins true but there is a very slight distortion along the outer edge which does not have any affect on the platter spinning true. The tone arm has the original wiring and does not have the original thumb nut retaining the counter weight. The cartridge is an empire 880. The condition of the stylus is unknown but I have used it and it seems OK. There is a small nick in the arm board along the rear edge. The plinth is a new solid wood reproduction. This is a very nice and clean turntable that is working as it should. I have the packing and shipping set at $55.00 for the USA. Other locations will need to be quoted.
