Questions for the seller
How long have you had ? Are you original owner? Are you using digital input or computer usb? Just curious if spdif or toslink is better, I think toslink only goes to 24/96 resolution.
Hey, thanks for asking! I've only had it about 3 months. I was always curious about Bel Canto. So I bought this and LOVED it! So of course then I started trying to look "up" the Bel Canto line. I found a 3.3VB ("Virtual Battery" series) from a guy I personally knew at a very good price so I bought it. I have used toslink, analog input, and USB. All sound very good to me. I never did try spdif. If you have a system that is pretty good already, you will love this. I have KEF 107 speakers and a McCormack DNA 0.5 amp and it is a great match. I actually tried it in my office system as well with KEF 103.2 speakers and a Peachtree Decco 2...the Decco 2 has its own DAC, but I tried using the Bel Canto as the DAC, feeding the Peachtree, and it did definitely improve the sound! If you are interested my price is not firm so feel free to make an offer. I won't give it a way but there is a little wiggle room.
Are you original owner?
No, I have only owned the Bel Canto for 3 months. I liked the Bel Canto sound so much that I went up the line to a "Virtual Battery" series Bel Canto DAC 3.3VB, for more money. You will not be disappointed with the sound of this DAC, Bel Canto makes great sounding products.
