These small towers have a very light, airy sound but still pack a full bass and midbass. The cabinets are in excellent shape overall - finished in black ash - but a few chips have been touched up with a black Sharpie here and there. Hence the overall rating of 5 and the very reasonable price. It is almost impossible to see the touchups, even close up.
