"This is where the majesty begins" says Tom Fletcher, creator
of the Nottingham Analogue line of turntables.
And I have to agree. Before this,
I had a Spacedeck, and the Hyperspace takes it up several notches.
The Ace Anna arm must be heard to be believed . . . it is up there on a
par with the Triplanar, Graham Phantom, and Schroeder IMO. I have been using a ZYX
UNIverse II cartridge (a Benz Ruby or Ebony are also a wonderful match) and the
sound is to die for. Black background,
huge soundstage, great image separation and image density, wonderful
dynamics. Everything that's in the vinyl
you hear, without anything added.
The Hyperspace sells for $4,995 new, without arm. The top of the line, carbon fiber Ace Anna
arm is $3,695 and the Wave Mechanic power supply is $1,300 . . . totalling $9,900. My asking price is very fair, so please no
low-balling.
I purchased the table used from a dealer. It has a couple of minor nicks on the
platform and top of the platter that are barely visible because of the dark
surface (and of course not visible on the platter when the dust cover or record
are on it!). I would rate it a conservative
7.8. The Ace Anna arm and Wave Mechanic
I purchased new from the same dealer.
They are a 9+.
Insured shipping and Paypal fee paid by buyer (I will also accept a
bank check or money order). TT will be
carefully packed and arm will be shipped separately (I still have the original
arm box). I have a PDF of the manual I
can send to you.
Buy with confidence from an Audiogon member with over 10 years perfect
feedback. If you're local (Western
Washington), bring a cartridge and come hear for yourself!
Thanks for looking, John
PS - I also have a Nottingham Dais (the Hyperspace's big brother) that I might be persuaded to part with.
