Fresh, crisp and clear. Lots of detail and clarity. Instruments have "air" and presence around them and sound very realistic. The soundstage is both wide and deep with very strong imaging. Bass is deep and tight, mids are"sweet" and high's are shimmering. Strong dynamics. As with most Mercury 'Promo' pressings, the detail level is slightly greater and tonality is richer with more ambience.
Surface noise is low-level 'crackles' on a few very quiet passages. Side 2 has a series of 'ticks' which last approx 20 seconds.

Each record is washed on a VPI cleaning machine using a proprietary 3-5 agent process which is determined by the needs of the individual record. Each record is then listened to 100% to insure that the posted description is exactly what you can expect to get.
