Although one of these wonderful Altec Lansing Madrid speaker cabinets is missing it's front grill trims, this doesn't speak for the overall condition of the speaker drivers themselves, which are excellent, nor the generally good condition of the walnut cabinets.
These are actually hybrids in that they are Madrid enclosures but feature the 602D 15" Duplex woofers with 10lb magnets and 3" voice coils along with integrated horn tweeters and N-3000-E crossover networks.
I am honestly only guessing the weight at around 75 lbs each.
They also include the attached original vintage Fisher AM/FM solid state receiver, which I imagine is around 35WPC, and more than sufficient power to drive these very efficient speakers. Clearly a valve amp would also be very suitable.
They were originally purchased by my father in the late 1960's.
