Langerton Configuration 217 - Hand made in Germany

You may not have heard of Langerton, however the mind behind these speakers goes back with some 30+ years of speaker design.  Norbert Heinz, one of the most brilliant minds in speaker design in Europe, and the founder of ASCENDO, set aside his day job and focused on designing a no compromise loudspeaker line.  The Configuration 217 was born.  Designed and built in Germany is another plus.   

Using decades of design expertise Norbert set out to built, not just another beautiful pair of loudspeakers.  Each component, driver, cabinet and isolation technique is precisely matched to the overall goal of creating a stunning music reproduction mechanism.  The result is fantastic imagining, precise musical placement in time and space.  Rather then go on and on, there are a few nice articles from reviewers that go into the details. After doing some reading you might say the Norbert's engineers are obsessed with holography, soundstage, imaging and all elements of re-creating a musical event in space.  Listening to the 217's makes this clear.  To our ears they fall somewhere between a WIlson Sabrina and a Yvette.
  
These were manufactured in limited production so they are rarely seen for sale and highly desirable.  
 
This pair in only 16 months old and is flawless.  Even the original boxes, manuals and packing are perfect.  They will arrive looking like a new pair.
