Mastersound 32B 300B

For sale I have a Mastersound made Vaic branded 32B intergrated amplifier. A direct input allows the owner to use this as an amplifier only with the preamp of your choice. The small signal tubes are: 12AU7 (2) and 5687s (2) with 2 32B power tubes. If you want to use 300B you will need to get this unit rebiased. 300BXLS and other higher power 300B derivatives will also work and are available new from KR and Emission Labs. I think that the 32B offers you the best of both worlds. You get ignificantly more dynamics with better bass, but little to none of the organic midrange magic is lost. In my opinion, the 32B is superior to the 300B in every aspect. Superb Italian craftsmanship. 
I bought this piece from the, then, Mastersound importer and at most this unit was used as a demo making me its first owner. I have put about 75 hours on this to insure reliability and stability. Before purchasing this amp. it was stored in a temperature controlled space for over a decade. The 32B tubes were new (never used) in original box when I bought the amp. You will notice that the chrome seems to have degraded a bit and the imperfections are not the result of scratches or dents but rather appears to be below the finish. Almost like pitting under the surface.  My best guess is that the chrome has degraded. I have had other amps from Mastersound from this production period and they all seem to suffer to varying degree to this phenomenon. Iam showing many pictures to show you all of the details. All other aspects of this unit are very good to excellent.
