Linn LP-12 Sondek Sub-Chassis

Here is a modern sub-chassis upgrade in design and material. This new design called the [ Kradle ] is professionally SLS laser printed with reinforced nylon 12. These parts are made on a large expensive commercial machine and are not cheap to have made. Sub-chassis is hard, flat, stiff and very strong with good sound isolation. Bearing sits square and secure into its own recess using the same M4 threads. Changing the way the bearing is mounted allows the advantage of a much longer thread length and a more rigid installation of the bearing. The Kradle sub-chassis is for the pre-cirkus bearing only, the cirkus mounted bearing option will be available soon. One of the main reasons for the cirkus bearing was to provide a stronger bearing installation using a longer thread. The Kradle will give you this and more with a pre- cirkus bearing. Printed chassis also is lighter at 17 oz than the original 29 oz making it easier on the suspension. The bearing and its placement is the heart of the Linn table. The Kradel is one of the most important upgrades to consider. Bolts and screws are included for your bearing and your armboard. Only the sub-chassis is for sale.
