Pro-Ject Audio Systems RPM-3

This is my personal turntable that was used very little. I bought this last year and since then injured my back and found the getting up and down to change LP's was more than I care to do to enjoy my music. My loss is your gain. I am including the dust cover which cost me around $125 to $150.
I pack extremely carefully, so packing materials will be the best and will add a few $$ to my shipping cost.

Affordable High-performance 'Table with 10" Composite Tonearm

Pro-Ject does it again, innovating and improving their line-up of affordable, great-sounding turntables by adding the highly capable RPM Carbon 3. You will have to shell out a lot more cash to equal the feature package and the level of performance which the Carbon 3 delivers.

The RPM 3 Carbon utilizes evolutionary enhancements to improve the performance of RPM series 'tables. A low resonance chassis holds an inverted platter bearing with ceramic ball for a further reduction in rumble. An outboard 15V AC motor is smoothly driven using an ultra precision AC generator with a DC power supply for further enhanced speed stability compared to lesser turntables in its price range. You can really hear the difference that this motor makes in the fidelity of your music. 

Newly Designed S-Shaped Tonearm

For the RPM-3 Carbon, Pro-Ject designed a new 10-inch S-shaped tonearm tube. This advanced tube is made from a special combination of carbon fiber, aluminum, and resin. Using a complex three-step process involving heat treatment and high pressure, the arm tube rigidity is strengthened, internal damping is maximized, and resonances are reduced to a minimum. You've got to experience this tonearm to believe it.

These attributes make the RPM-3 Carbon's tonearm suitable for superior results using MC moving coil cartridges as well as MM moving magnet cartridges, and this is a feature not often found in turntables in this price range. 

Additional features include a new magnetic antiskating mechanism and a TPE-damped counterweight. All of these ingredients add up to a miracle in sound for the price along with ultra-stylish looks. The 300mm/11.9" platter is made from heavy MDF using a vinyl layer as a mat.

Sumiko Blue Point No. 2 Phono Cartridge

Offering exceptional performance and musicality at an affordable price, the latest generation Blue Point No. 2 phono cartridge from Sumiko sets a new standard in its price class. The Blue Point's features include a moving coil design, high output, 2.5-mV, alloy cantilever, Blue Point-cut elliptical diamond stylus, and standard 1/2" mounting. 

The audiophile press can't believe the level of performance that Blue Point No. 2 provides for such a meager outlay of cash.
