This is Bob Carver’s iconic Cinema Grand “Signature Series” power amp not the much cheaper standard series amp. It delivers 425 watts per channel into each of five channels and when biamped it will hold its own with anything out there especially at this price point. A true powerhouse. This amp is a very smooth, natural sounding amp with an unbelievable dynamic punch for home theatre applications. In stereo applications the low noise floor, imaging and clarity is unparalleled. It is the 17” wide architect’s choice chassis allowing flexibility to mount in a rack system. I rate this amp an 8/10 due to a few scuffs and minor scratches over the years that has no effect on performance. It was refurbished under direct supervision from Bob himself and performs flawlessly.
