These have adjustable impedance so can be used with any piece of gear and and any amplifier. However, if you have Spectral gear, and you think your equipment sounds good with MA-X 60 or 90 or any of their subsequent revision, then you haven't heard your gear sound its best. The SHD combines musicality and detail like no other. The soundstage is expansive, layered and it a "you are there experience".
They were purchased from an authorized MIT dealer 4 years ago. I am not replacing them with anything. Rather this is an extra pair that I am no longer using. They have the desired "V" configuration for more flexible placement options. They are pristine and have been used in a pet free, smoke free home.
