Why the rating of 8/10 I am the original owner of the unit.  The unit failed to boot in November 2017, so I sent it  in under warranty repair immediately.  The fact that it has gone through an RMA and factory repair is the main reason for the rating and the killer pricetag!  The unit is in perfect shape.  It has been used for 3 years.  When I sent this in for RMA, I decided to buy a DCS network bridge (~4500 + tax).  This has been sitting in the box in my listening room since March and needs a new loving home.

Questions for the seller
A couple of questions: #1 - since Wadia is now out of business, has McIntosh taken over their warranty & service aspects? #2 This unit is TIDAL capable?
I wasn't aware Wadia was out of business. When I contacted McIntosh (the support number for Wadia) they executed the repair and warranty and service (under warranty) - The invoice for that is listed in the pictures. I have heard but can't confirm Wadia was owned by McIntosh and they inherited their liabilities, but YMMV as I am an end consumer - not a dealer. One suggestion is to contact Wadia's support number and ask them directly. Note this device has no warranty available. When it was used, I used it nearly exclusively with Tidal. I do not think it supports Tidal MQA, but I am uncertain. I used with the HiFI service (16bit/44k) mode. The Wadia also supports other streaming systems - the one I also used often was SiriusXM as Sirius seems to not want to integrate with DCS or anyone else for that matter. The device is in great condition and has a built-in high quality DAC or can be used with your own DAC. The Wadia control software is functional, but doesn't compete with my current DCS Network Bridge + Roon lifetime subscription. DCS NB = $4750, Roon lifetime subscription = $499 + Family HiFi Tidal @ 30$/mo.. If you can drop the cash, I'd highly recommend that kind of setup over the Wadia m330. That said, this device is very well constructed and for the price, is competitive with other products.
