Audio Research SP9 mkIII Hybrid Preamplifier with MM/MC phono stage

We are selling an Audio Research SP9 MkIII hybrid Preamplifier in truly excellent condition. This is a preamplifier that combines tubes and FETs as in numerous other ARC products. Physically this unit is in truly fine condition, as you can see in the photos there are no chips, scratches or dings on it. It looks great from every angle and is likely as close to new condition as you will find in a unit of this age. It has only of the tiniest of marks on it, as you can see in the photos. Truly a beautiful example. 
Electronically and sonically the SP9 MkIII functions flawlessly. It features a phono stage that can be used for MM or MC cartridges; inputs for CD and two other line inputs, two tape inputs, two tape outputs and main outs. This classic piece of equipment is still one of the better sounding preamps out there and has a quality MM/MC phono stage that can be fine adjusted for your cartridge. This SP9 MkIII comes with a factory resistor and solder kit for changing the loading.  It also has a heavy-duty, permanently attached power cord. 
This ARC SP9 MkIII will be shipped in the original double box and packing. In addition to the resistor kit it includes the original Owner’s Manual and ARC quality assurance certificate. The buyer will pay the cost of shipping and insurance. Please feel free to email with any questions.
