The All Star Percussion Ensemble

MMG-115.  The All Star Percussion Ensemble LP is quite unique.  It features well known classical works performed entirely on percussion instruments, and it's remarkable for two reasons.  First, the recording is one of the most stunning and realistic you'll ever hear, and it makes any decent audio system sing with spectacular soundstaging.  Second, the performers are all first-chair players with ten top orchestras, so the performances are really a joy to hear.  It's not merely a gimmick.  It's really surprising and fun.  Conducted by Harold Farberman, produced by Andrew Kazdin.
This LP is in near mint condition, both the vinyl and the jacket.  It's out of print and rare.
