This is a Factory Sealed 24 karat gold audiophile disc by Pope Music titled "Farewell" (PMG2006-2) (1996) -------------- It features performances of Tchaikovsky's Symphony No. 6 (Pathetique) in B minor, op. 74, and the Francesca Da Rimini, Op. 32 (Symphonic Fantasy). ------ Mark Gorenstein conducts the Russian Symphony Orchestra. The recording was done in 1995 in the Moscow Conservatory's Great Hall. **************************************************** Pope Music is a small audiophile label, with wonderful sound that only a small dedicated label like this could accomplish. On most of their recordings they used just 2 B&K mics run directly into a Nagra Digital D recorder, and used Pope Music's proprietary jitter reduction technique.
