ACI made some nice monitors and subs in the early 2000s. They recommended using a passive line level filter to keep the monitors from handling the low frequencies that the subs handled. This unit was designed and made by Marchand Electronics. It is meant to go between preamp and amp for the main loudspeakers when also using subwoofer(s). It is a second order filter at 80 Hz, with balanced connections on both input/output sides. You can buy adapters if you use RCA ics.
