VPI Industries HW17 Superb record cleaning machine

If you need to clean a lot of records and do it well, this is the machine for you!  The HW17 is the "big brother" to the more common HW16 and HW16.5 machines and works in much the same way.  The main differences are that the HW17 has a more industrial platter motor, so you can clean record after record without shutdown.  The 16 has a lighter duty motor that will shut down after about 5 or 6 records until the motor cools down. (usually about 20 minutes or so before you can resume).  It also has a liquid cleaner button, which applies a squirt of fluid to the record for you instead of doing it manually from a plastic bottle.  Finally, the record platter will rotate in BOTH directions with a flip of the switch on the front of the machine.  The 16 will rotate in one direction only.  This alone can make a HUGE diff in removing gunk from your record grooves!  So, why am I selling this one so cheap?  First, I do not have a shipping box.  If you want it shipped, you must order a box from VPI first and get it shipped to me.  Then I'll pack it up and send it.  Second, the water pump to squirt fluid only works occasionally.  Fortunately, it's easy to replace, but I never used it anyway, preferring to apply my own amount of fluid from a plastic squirt bottle.  No big deal!  Third, it's in good shape, but not perfect cosmetically.  You can see from my pics it has a few dings on the edges and one formica seam in front is splitting a tiny bit.  Doesn't affect the operation or integrity of the machine-- purely cosmetic.  Get yours now at a bargain price!  Can deliver if in the general Seattle area!!   Paypal adds 3%.
