The term DSIX stands for "Digital Signal Isolation Exciter". DSIX electrically isolates the signal loop from equipment by the use of the isolation transformer to cut off noise interference. Company claims the throw rate, (the start up speed of a digital shape wave) is up to five times faster and transmission energy is up to twelve times more in a circuit equipped with DSIX

Cable is 1.0M long, balanced configuration (XLR) and is supplied with power supply. I zip-tied the power supply cable to signal cable for my convenience - it can be
removed by buyer if desired. I am replacing this unit with same that has RCA ends as the recently purchased Devialet does not support balanced.
