Marantz 7C tube preamp & 10B tuner

Many people
know our company – Soundsmith, and its owner, Peter Ledermann, for our products
and service. This is a rare opportunity to own working pieces of audio history.
Many of you are aware of the collectable nature of these Marantz units. These
particular ones came from a non-smoking home of the original owner. As fate
would have it, Peter had worked on the 7C back in 1971, when he was affiliated
with Audio experts in White plains, NY, who sold these units to the owner.
 You can see the Audio Experts sticker on the photos, which has now been
removed. He had replaced the selenium rectifier with a high current silicon
diode, which was commonly done back then as the selenium units tended to fail.
Peter has verified that NO OTHER WORK has ever been done to both units, and
that they BOTH perform extremely well to spec - as originally designed.  

We have  -
Original issue Marantz 7c tube preamp and original 10B tuner.  One owner.
The 7C has a set of installed Telefunken 12AX7’s, and one Bugle Boy 12AX7. Both
units fully inspected and tested by Peter Ledermann, Chief Engineer of
Soundsmith.  Meets all factory specifications for frequency response,
signal to noise ratio and THD. The tuner works well; sensitivity is below 3uV,
stereo switching works properly, the glass is original with lettering/numbers mostly intact as shown.
The scope tube is original and does not have a bad center burn a many did. This
unit appears not to have many hours of use.  All controls and switches are
original, fully functional and quiet. Any cosmetic blemishes are depicted in
the included images.  These units are available for viewing and PICKUP
