Purchased brand new from Schiit in February 2018, this has very low hours (~100-150 hours). Condition is 9/10: this was taken out of the box, setup on my desk and never moved. Selling because I’ve fallen down the slippery slope of headphone HiFi and I’m in the processing of upgrading my entire setup.
Incredible power, these will handily drive any set of headphones. Currently powering Sennheiser HD650 (300 ohms) and Oppo PM-3 planar magnetic (28 ohms) cans. I bought this because I have a growing collection of headphones and wanted an amp that would drive any of them, all the way down to 600 ohms.
Stock tubes installed (never swapped them). The Lyr 2 accommodates any 6DJ8, 6922, ECC88, 6N23P, 6BZ7, and 6N1P tube types.
First time selling on Audiogon, though have purchased a few things here – reference the “slippery slope” comment above. However, I had an internet based business selling direct-to-consumer a couple years back and understand how to ship safely (we shipped glass products). The original factory box will be double boxed.
