Rega RB-1000

This is a standalone RB1000 tonearm.  If you've wanted to try one of Rega's top of the line tonearms - now's your chance!  This is a non-modified stock unit in Rega original wood packaging.  Includes all accessories, and the cartridge alignment card.

Introduced in 2002 as the top model in Rega's arm line, the RB1000 was the most highly developed derivative of their famous tonearm.  The famous one piece silicon-aluminum arm tube casting is highly polished, with no paint or coating of any kind.  Bearing are selected and assembled to the highest standard, while other parts use better materials than in Rega's lower-cost arms - the mounting block in stainless steel, for example.  Arm wiring is in one continuous run from cartridge tags to phono plugs.  According to Rega, this arm takes 30 times longer to produce than the RB300.

The changes made over the previous RB900 have resulted in a tonearm with extremely high structural rigidity, combining ultra low friction movement together with massive stability. These attributes will make any cartridge mounted on this tonearm work harder than they have ever worked before. Do not be surprised if the first time you listen to familiar music, you hear detail that you have never heard before!
