Small Green Computer SonicTransporter

This is the SGC sonictransporter model prior to the i5 model. It is fanless, silent and does not run warm. Perfect cosmetic and operating condition. I recently upgraded to the SGC i7 with hard drive so I could store music files on it and use the faster processor for heavy DSP intensive applications. This unit is perfect for handling medium to large music libraries. So unless you have like 15000 or more files, this unit is a good solution moving away from laptop or Mac mini for your Roon core. I am original owner.

From small green computer website for i5 model. My unit works same way but processor I believe is not as fast as the i5. My unit is supposed to have(celeron J1800). However, access to files is very fast.

Music collection size

The sonicTransporter i5 is designed for a music library of 1 - 450K tracks. This includes Red Book audio, DSD, and Hi-Rez. If your music library is larger then 450K tracks we recommend a custom solution. Contact us for your music storage needs.
