This is a single owner pair of the Classic Model II that helped put Vandersteen on the Audiophile Map. Check out the pictures and contact me with any questions you have.
This pair is located at my store in Taos NM.
I also have other great pre-owned and demo gear including EAR, Convergent Audio Technology, Elac EA101 amplifier, Allison Model 4 speakers and a demo Sonos Connect.

| Given that these are the original version of the Model 2, what is their age? I recall this version being introduced in the mid-to-late 1970's. I don't know for sure but it is safe to assume they are 30+ years or older. |

I don't think the permordance is tied to speaker impedance.
It is more of an amplifier performance issue.

SPECIFICATIONS
Even with advanced test equipment and complex computer analysis, loudspeaker design remains an incomplete science. No measurements currently available can fully convey the sound of a speaker or provide a meaningful comparison between differing designs.
