This is the original top spec prototype of the Triode Labs 45 Mini integrated. 230/240V, 8 & 16 Ohm taps. Immaculate condition. First owner bought direct from Triode Labs in Canada. Details of the standard production version of this amp can be found on the Triode Labs website, but this is the top spec prototype of which they said:
"Selling our prototype sample, only one is made, and is fitted in a pure copper chassis. For the production version, it will not use such exotic materials, mostly using aluminum instead of copper. And most likely the whole circuitry will be on circuit board. Anyway, for the design, it should be one of the finest 45 Triode amp in the world. Autobias, Class A, measured 2W before distortion (normally 1.5W) - thanks to the finest quality Tamura output transformers with min insert lost. The power and choke transformers are Hammonds Canada. (100-240V available). Full suit of exotic parts, from DACT vol control and even the polished stainless steel knobs is DACT, Mundorf Silver Gold Oil Coupling Caps, Mundorf ECAPs + Power Supply HV ECap, Furutech Rhodium IEC, Cardas Rhodium RCA, Cardas Gold Binding Posts, and 3Q Japan audiophile grade tube sockets...etc. Price including a pair of NOS USA 45 as pictured (Less than 5 hours), NOS USA 5V4 or 5U4, and new pair of Mullard 12AX7. Shipping is included as well. This is a no NFB design, which means at all time please hook up the speakers before the amplifier is ON! tube novice especially have to be-careful. As the Tamura is no longer in production (sadly), but you don't want damage anything either. Binding posts are connect 8 and 16 ohms, and this amp will give you the best triode bliss for speakers over 100 db+."
This is a unique jewel of an amp and, if your speakers are sensitive enough, will provide an exquisite listening experience. Willing to include a pair of Tele ECC83s & Mullard GZ 32 rectifier in the price, but you will need to source your own 45s. I have a number of NOS that we can discuss if you are interested.
