The KR-9600 is the biggest stereo receiver that Kenwood made in the 1970s. The pinnacle of the late 70s watt wars, the KR-9600 outputs a conservative 160 watts per channel. This receiver is a beast.
This KR-9600 has been completely refurbished by a professional repair technician. All transistors have been replaced as well as capacitors, an output transformer and more. A lot of work has gone into this receiver and it is in perfect working order. The top case has also been sanded and repainted and looks impeccable.
