PrimaLuna Dialogue Premium Integrated Amp

PrimaLuna's sound is widely celebrated, as their multiple awards in the audio press demonstrate. This Dialogue Premium integrated amp is equipped with excellent EL-34 power tubes (my personal favorites) but with a flip of a switch can accommodate KT-88s, KT-120s or even, given PrimaLuna's hefty power supply, KT-150s. PL's auto-bias circuitry and soft-on facilitate ease of tube rolling and long lifetimes for tubes, and no need to bother locating matched tubes. Tube sound with the ease of solid state but with far greater flexibility for your room needs or personal preferences makes this the ideal component for those new to tubes. Ultralinear or Triode mode is selectable from the full-function remote (included). I had run KT-150 power tubes for a while in a previous system configuration but missed the rich, lifelike sound of EL-34s, so I would estimate the power tubes have maybe 400-500 hours on them, the rest of the tubes maybe an additional 100 at most. All tubes, as well as the entirety of the unit, work perfectly and sound great!

PL's flagship Dialogue model differs from their Prologue model by adding swiss-made wiring, Takman resistors, and SCR tinfoil capacitors, among other features--see web site below.Also note this is not the HP model, a higher powered unit (at least I sometimes get confused by their model names). I bought this unit open-box from an authorized dealer and it comes from a no-smoking home. Cosmetically, this integrated looks new but for where the power supply cover meets the lower box (you'll need to look closely to see it, but I tried to show in photo). I also have new rubber "bumpers" for the remote on order. Ships in original double-box with remote and owner's manual. Due to weight, I must make shipping the buyer's responsibility, but local pickup is also available.
