Forgive me, but I am about to gush. PSB's Imagine T3 speakers are a HUGE step up, in every way, from the PSB T2s I owned before them. They sounded great in a previous room, 10x13, but I had no idea what they were capable of until I heard them in my current 19x12 ft. room with cathedral ceiling. Especially connected to tube amps (I used them with PrimaLuna monoblocks and Nordost Red Dawn Bi-Wire speaker cables, both currently listed onAudiogon), these speakers filled my largish room with articulate, natural sound with abundant air. The music was suddenly there, in the room with me, and if you're not sure exactly what "air" means, suddenly, there it was, clear and lifelike and staging music in space like I had never heard.

I know many audiophiles scoff at those who consider a component's looks, but these speakers may be the best looking speakers I have ever seen. I considered them art furniture when the system was off, a disappearing act when it was on. I suppose my enthusiasm for these speakers is obvious.

Everyone has his or her own room to contend with and individual taste in both sound and aesthetics of course, but I consider these speakers the little brothers to the Focal Sopra 2s I auditioned (similar hi-fi sound, just somewhat less of everything, as you might expect given the huge difference in price). This is a lot of speaker for the money.

These speakers are efficient for amps and surprisingly space-efficient, needing only about a foot of space behind their narrow profiles. They include jumpers to run them with regular speaker cable, though I bi-wired them, and they can also be bi-amped or even tri-amped. They also include gold-plated jumpers to short the bottom woofer so that it can serve as a bass sink in rooms that get boomy (I never had that problem). Rubber plugs screw into the ports for further customizing to different room requirements.

Condition is excellent with no marks on the drivers or cabinets, although there are some scratches on the pads that support the spiked feet for wooden floors. BTW, angle of adjustment is easy to set since the outriggers permit easy adjustment of each corner.

I am the original owner and they are about two years old. They come from a non-smoking home. I have original boxes and packaging so can ship, but shipping cost will need to be paid by buyer. Local pickup is also available.

I take care of my stuff! I am downsizing my hi-fi hobby and selling my greatest toys, and only hope I won't regret it!
