This Conrad John product
was also known as their "Rolls Royce" solid state amp marketed for
the European market.  Conrad Johnson's wanted
to offer a tube sounding solid state product in an attempt to compete with Krell, Jeff Rowland and Levinson.

Introduced in the late 1980's and this amp is known for their liquid mid range
reproduction and tube-like signature. This is a fantastic sounding, audiophile
quality amplifier with superb quality construction. Using MOSFET input and
output stages. 

Music Technology (Bill
Thalmann -x- CJ design engineer) rebuilt the
Amp in 2013. 

Updates included:  The Power supply caps were change to the ultra-smooth
Nichicon FG Fine Gold Electrolytic. 
Signal caps were updated to VH audio V- Teflon/Copper Foil Capacitors
and V-Cap OIL filled Poly Capacitors. All hookup wire was upgrade to 12
to 16 awg CARDAS Chassis wire.   Old Ac cord remove and Furutech Rhodium 20 amp
outlet installed.  All connectors were
upgraded to Cardas Rhodium.  All fuses
have been upgraded to Hi FI Tuning Gold and Supreme.

I use this amp as my summer amp and it gets about 4 months of use each year;
and I am the original owner.  Cosmetically
it is very clean and nice condition. The face plate is anodized in Argento Silver.
 There are two “wear and tear” imperfections
on the bottom of the faceplate.  The face
plate is quarter inch thick and is rack mountable. The case itself is high
quality brushed aluminum. On the back are very high quality Teflon insulated
RCA inputs and 5 way binding posts.  The
Top cover has a few hair line scratches.

The amp is 100% working and no issues and sounds gorgeous with beautiful
extended and grain free high frequencies, neutral mid range and powerful tight
bass. Music Technology made an excellent amp and made it better with the
updated.  Absolutely incredible in hard
to drive speakers such as the ribbon Apogees or Magnepan's. See Stereophile’s
Tom Norton review he rated it as one of his favorite amplifiers of all time.  Bascom H. King loved the amp in his
review in Audio.

The MS100 is rated at 100w into 8ohms; 200w into 4ohms. Dimensions are:
