Up for sale is a fully restored Mcintosh solid state stereo amplifier - the MC2200
Originally produced in 1976, it is the commercial versions of its blue-metered brother (MC2205). The MC2200 produces 200 wpc.

The MC2200 has a clear blemish on the top right of the front panel (see pics), but other than that it’s as clean as a whistle. As a bonus, the MC2200 will include a wooden case, made by Mcintoshcabinets.com. Beautifully made from birch ply with real cherrywood veneer, it looks better than the original.
This amp was restored by AudioClassics in Vestal, NY in 2013, then given another review by Audio Exchange in Chamblee, GA earlier this summer (full list of work done available upon request). It sounds even better than it looks.
The MC2200 will ship in double-box packaging - complete with bolt-on wooden skid.
It ships (at buyer’s expense) anywhere in the lower 48 and will arrive safely. The cherrywood case will be shipped in a separate box.
