ATC SCM 40 (Gen. 2) Passive Satin Black

9/22/2020: Price and condition rating lowered. Going to take some new photos this weekend as well as I saw a scratch or two that I hadn't noticed before.
I bought these from a dealer in Europe as I wanted to have the satin black and the US dealer network was a bit too slow for me. Having gone to a couple shows and had some conversations with the US importer, I’m pretty certain this was the first Satin Black Pair in the US. Bear in mind if you buy a pair from outside the US, you pay duties that bring the cost near parity with the retail cost. 
 
These speakers are exceptional but I’m changing my system and downsizing. Having owned several ATC speakers, these are exceptional and a huge leap beyond the first version. I paired these with a Line Magnetic 805IA and it was bliss. Also sound amazing with the ATC P2.      
This sale includes all original packaging, speaker grilles, manuals, covers, and warranty cards. I’ve never known ATC not to honor their warranty for the current owner of the speakers. These were warranted for five years starting 11/23/2016.  

There is an inexplicable blemish/indentation on the front baffle of one of the speaker. Could have been the house cleaner but my stereo is super off limits so I’m not sure why they would have touched them. It is pictured but hard to capture on a matte surface. Also, this is virtually invisible with the grilles in which is why I only saw this when I moved the speakers. These are otherwise in great condition. 
There are also some minor scrapes (not through the paint) on the side of one cabinet and a nick on the top from edge of the same cabinet. None of this is very visible due to the dark finish.
 
I’m a huge ATC fan.
