Focal 1028Be II Basalt Grey

These are in great condition, sound fantastic and have no issues. Super detailed, fast, musical and perfectly integrated musical and deep bass- the best I've heard in fact. Great imaging and sound stage- three dimensional. Read the reviews on these; they're all accurate. 
Only selling due to our moving soon and then setting up a home theater system. I have the original boxes which are in ok condition, not great condition. I'd probably double box these if they had to be shipped. 
They do not have the port plugs and after experimenting with plugging the ports I don't believe you'd ever need them anyway. I've plugged them with socks to test and didn't notice much difference. The bass is detailed and musical, goes very deep and is never boomy.
I have them about 8 ft apart, 3 ft off the back wall and about 2 ft in from the side walls in a room thats about 13 ft wide by 22ft long with 8 ft ceiling. I run them on a Pass XP 10, Pass 250.8 and a PS Audio Direct Stream Jr DAC. It's the best sounding system I've owned and the Focal's brought it to this level when I added them.   
I'd strongly prefer a local sale rather than shipping them. I'm in the Hudson Valley area of NY state, near Woodstock NY. We're about 90 miles north of the George Washington Bridge, straight up the thruway (87 North), exit 20.   
I'm also happy to meet someone anywhere within a hundred miles of where I'm located as long as you've completed the transaction thru Audiogon first.    
I bought these from a dealer about 9 months ago, the dealer had sold them new to a customer of his so I'm the second owner. These will run about $300 to ship if shipped on the east coast or out to the Chicago area; more if they were to ship across the country.  I believe I paid about $300 to have them shipped to me in NY from Florida for example.
