Audible Illusions Modulus 2C MINT PREAMP

This is the preamp that was the original Giant killer with both a great line stage and an amazing phono stage. One owner! in Mint cosmetic and functional shape (see photos). I had the unit completely recapped and upgraded by Avatar Engineering in Sept. 2018 a $500 service. The upgrades consisted of all new audiophile electrolytic capacitors throughout the preamp. The power supply capacitance was increased by 40% with higher grade, higher voltage capacitors along with 8 new ultra fast soft recovery rectifiers. Key resistors were also upgraded with Takman, Dale and .1% Vishay film and foil resistors in both the line stage and phono sections. The phono stage was upgraded also with Teflon film capacitors.The tubes were also replaced (LESS THAN 20HRS. OF USE) NOS 6DJ8 Audiophile tubes. Also included is a new Mil -Spec Mosfet and new voltage regulator. Both volume controls have been replaced with new audio grade Alps units!
