Thorens TD-224 Masterpiece Turntable and record changer. Serial # 3129. One owner, my father who bought the unit early 1966 while in Germany. A few issues... Instruction manual is missing the cover page which has page 1 on back side. One rubber grommet mount slightly chipped, see picture. Very, very small wire broken, see picture. Belt is missing. May or may not need new motor. When powered on unit will not turn. Even with these issues the unit has been well cared for and is pretty much complete. Two boxes one with turntable and one with wooden base will be carefully packed. Selling for my father who is cleaning house and wants someone new to appreciate this gem. This is my first time using Audiogon. Thanks. Also included is November 1965 price list from Darmstadt Audio Club, Darmstadt, Germany. See pictures. Price list shows $127 for TD-224 in 1965.
