Yamaha NS-1000M Speakers - Legendary

I am the original owner of these legendary speakers. I
purchased these new off the showroom floor of an audio store in Goshen, NY in the
1980’s. Serial numbers are in the 30,000’s. For those of you that know what you’re
looking at I need not explain. For those who don’t please see some of the many
reviews below.

These have the amazing Beryllium mid-range and tweeter
drivers. I’ve used both tube gear and solid-state gear. Upper freqs are light
airy and crisp. They are very accurate so if your recording is shrill and harsh
they will reproduce the same. Fine recordings are amazing. The mids and uppers are
to die for especially with tube gear! Plenty of bottom with the 12” drivers too.
They are very fast and accurate and that’s why they were a favorite with
studios. They have scuffs and scratches on the cabinets (I tried to show these
in the pictures), but clean up well. The original grills are intact and a few
of the pegs are repaired so that the grills stay put. The cloth has a couple of
small holes. Nothing drastic. These are in pretty good shape for 30 year old
speakers. I’m asking $900. Buyer pays shipping (they are 68lbs each). If using PayPal
