ASW Lautsprecher Genius 100 Powerful and gorgeous!

Wow! I bought these to replace my Acoustic Zen Adagios and was not prepared for just how good they are. Well-reviewed in Stereophile and elsewhere, the Genius 100's are deep monitors that throw a huge soundstage and deliver more bass than they should. They resolve detail beautifully on the neutral side of the sonic spectrum; I hear details in tracks my other monitors (Focal and Elac) don't deliver.

I've been happy with these gems powered by my Pathos integrated. Their design is slim and sleek and svelte. They're deep and heavy - attesting to their solid build and components; fine pieces of German engineering.

I do not have the grills for these, but wouldn't have used them if I did. Some slight scratching on the tops (see photos). Also, please note that one of the tweeter covers is slightly dimpled. I bought it like this and can hear no sonic difference at all. I don't buy junk and I don't sell junk, so buy with confidence.

I will have them professionally packed in separate boxes at my cost.
