Hello. Up for purchase is one Tom McNally custom built Darling 1626 single ended triode amplifier. Amplifier is in exceptional physical condition and is 100% functional. Amplifier dimensions are 12"w by 8"d by 3"h. Featuring point to point wiring and built like a tank with a black powder coated steel chassis (with bottom plate) and stainless steel hardware throughout. Edcor output transformers, Hammond choke and toroidal power transformer by Antek. Amplifier pumps out a whopping 3/4 watt per channel into an 8 ohm load so efficient speakers are required... Think no less than 94db sensitive. This is a straight power amplifier meaning it needs a preamp to control volume... I have had great success with passive and active SS/tube preamplification (amplifier has a high input impedance). All questions welcome.
