Genelex KT88

Matched pair of Genelex KT88 power tubes. These tubes need no introduction. They are without doubt the finest KT88's ever made. Tubes like this will never be made again, because the knowledge, expertise, chemical suppliers, and the tooling, is gone forever. I would hazard to guess, that when these tubes were being produced, the toxic waste from production, would not be allowed today, even in China.The only way to enjoy them is from NOS, and used supplies, that is getting harder and harder to find. I purchased these 10, or 15 years ago, as NOS. I didn't believe then, and still don't believe these are NOS. They test NOS, but looked at closely, they looked used. The vender assured me that it was from the factory burn in, that I was seeing, as all KT88's were subject to 100 hours burn in, to detect all faults. I broke one of the locator pins, while testing, but mark where it should be. So here for sale is a NOS testing, matched pair of Genelex KT88, single getter version. Shipping Priority Mail Insured.
